Remembering Founder James “Jim” Johnson
March 1, 1939 – June 19, 2026
Founder of Johnson’s Landscaping Service, Jim passed away after a life devoted to creating opportunities for others and bringing people together through quiet leadership and generosity. After beginning in his family’s flower business, he established Johnson’s Landscaping Service in 1960 and grew it into a thriving company that continues to serve the community today. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jim’s legacy lives on through his deep community involvement, including his service as a Cub Scout leader, CCD teacher, youth coach, and mentor to countless families.
Remembering Our Friend: Jorge Mendez Garcia
Jorge Mendez Garcia has been a part of our JLS family since 2016. He was a father, brother, friend, and dedicated colleague. Jorge was a vital part of our family, he was always cracking jokes and putting smiles on everyone’s face. Jorge passed away on May 26, 2025 from Liver Cancer. You will be missed, our dear friend. Always our brother!
